After reading through some of the SEO link building features, you may have noticed that some packages mention 2 terms. On one end you have “industry specific” sites, which would be for example the auto industry or transportation, while “niche specific” may be more specific such as “luxury cars” or “used trucks”. This situation can apply to any sectors and across many countries. Typically (not always), the more lucrative or popular an industry is, the easier it is to identify “industry” or “niche” websites for outreach.

Furthermore, if your still unsure what those package fees pertain to, let us clarify. Bronze, Silver and Gold each correspond to a budget which is being allocated in order for us to do outreach on our behalf. Believe it or not, it’s a fairly pricey process for us to engage in. Furthermore, it’s repetitive and not the most entertaining, which is why some find it hard, yet it remains an important elements as part of your organic search effort(s). Most link building packages have access to the same features, while Silver or Gold will have more budget thus, we can consider additional options based on your geographic location, competition level and sector.

If you want to learn a bit more, you may review our backlink building FAQs below, to get more insights. Ultimately, we can normally assist you across various languages and markets if need be. While English content and publishers are the most common and offer the best value, you’d be surprised that Spanish or French markets may deliver good secondary options. Furthermore, non-European languages are possible, but that would be on case by case basis. In addition, for the Gold package, “Bespoke” outreach campaigns typically involve research, which gets picked up by the media and may help generate a fair bit of links. While using the more standard outreach methods, you have a different kind of edge – partner sites tends to be more predictable with various key elements.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

The package you will choose is likely to be based on your marketing budget, our ability for us to find suitable placements through partners or/and the need to activate more bespoke campaigns. In addition, the link velocity (frequency) may be a factor in your sector, depending on the size of the market & how active are your competitors. The language, niche and country may also be factors we need to account for, in order to guide expectations of which package would make sense for you. Ultimately, when it comes to links “having patience is an essential piece of the puzzle”, since the outreach process typically enhances 2 aspects of a site – the authority of your domain and the traffic those links may generate from user clicks. It’s very tempting to pull the plug when things aren’t going well or when things are not moving fast enough; but at your own risk, since links are a foundational component. Unlike conventional display ads, which come and go at the press of button, links add a solid layer to keep your site afloat (rain or shine).

The main difference is the amount of credits each represent, meaning we can target better sites or/and more sites with the funds allocate. Quantity and quality both add value. Furthermore, some outreach methods may not be available for smaller accounts or those which are hyperlocal, simply because the benefits may not justify the expenses, unless your starting from scratch and you need some serious muscles for a few quarters to get up to speed. Please note, a significant portion of the investment used towards outreach is actually a cost, since it’s a complex and time-consuming process.

An SEO link builder is a specialist service that creates hyperlinks from relevant or reputable sites using a variety of methods. This may also include journalist outreach, Newsjacking and other more sophisticated methods. Ultimately, the link building process is designed to improve the website SEO.

Backlinks are essentially hyperlinks that link one page to another, which can be accessed by clicking on the link. The clickable link points to a single page and is text or an image.

You can build backlinks by looking at your top referral sources, using the Google Search Console, building outbound link partnerships, spying on the competition, finding broken links and create high-quality content that generates links naturally.

An example of a backlink is a link that takes you from one page to another. They are usually made up of anchor text and when hovering the mouse over the link, the cursor changes from a pointer to a finger.

Backlink development involves increasing the number of backlinks coming into your website. This includes leaving comments on forums, location citations, PR outreach using various methods, trading content in exchange for links and writing blogs for other websites with relevant user focused links. Also, link development involves creating links that point between webpages of the same website, which is called internal linking.

Beginners can acquire backlinks by guest blogging, target content promotion, brand mention campaigns, skyscraper content and broken link building. You can also spy on the competition and use the Google Search Console to find opportunities.

In 2022, backlinks are still an important part of the overall SEO strategy because it is part of the Google PageRank algorithm. Studies have shown that increasing backlinks will increase SERP rankings for webpages for target keywords.

The monthly cost of outsourcing link building per website can range from $500 to $10,000 per month. It really depends on the number of links, the type of links, along with the velocity of the link process chosen. However, you can spend much more if you have a large website. Typically large-scale campaigns can exceed $15,000 per month for a top tier country. While, global link campaigns with multilingual aspirations can easily double or triple that amount.

Link builders work with content to create quality pages across the internet with links pointing back to the target website. This can include contacting article directories, looking for blogs and posting on forums.

Link building is worth the effort but up to a certain point. You should use link building as part of a bigger strategy that involves other SEO tactics. This ensures that you don’t spend all of your resources on link building.

Examples of link building strategies include guest posting, research pieces shared with the media, newsjacking, forum posting, using backlink building tools, replacing competitor backlinks and sponsoring links.

While it can be a taboo, some firms prefer to acquire backlinks from websites directly & the costs differ a lot from one website to the next. Search engines don’t like to admit it, but it can be a good addition to your outreach efforts. You may also buy backlinks from agencies or independent vendors, but you need to be careful of shady practices that will do more harm than good to your SEO. Only work with trusted partners who will ensure that your contribution will make a positive addition to their website and readers.

You should pay for backlinks an amount that will have a positive impact towards your marketing efforts. Depending on the type of site, quality of its audience and domain authority, some users have reported rates ranging from $100 to $10,000 for a permanent placement.

You can find your domain authority in the SERP Analysis section of Keyword Explorer, MozBar (Moz’s free SEO toolbar) and Moz’s Link Explorer.

Link juice refers to a SERP ranking factor based on the idea that one hyperlink acts as a vote to the page it links to. The link juice is bigger when the authority of the website where the link is placed is also higher.

Link juice is based on the PageRank of the webpage where the link is placed. Also, the strength of the link juice depends on the number of links that are placed on the website.

Link equity works on the idea that each hyperlink passes authority and value to the website where It is pointing. The amount of value that is passed depends on factors such as HTTP status, topical relevance, and the linking page’s authority.

You can increase link equity by fixing internal 301 redirects, redirecting old URL paths and analyzing the .htaccess file. Also, you can increase topical relevance and PageRank of the webpage where the link is placed.

Whitehat techniques are typically understood as SEO strategies that improve SERP ratings using approved methods. This means the method must avoid trickery and shortcuts that search engines like Google do not approve. Be aware that sometime the term is used to scare people, so use your own judgement in most instances.

Link building is important because it helps increase the domain authority of a given site, which in turn improves the SERP rankings for target keywords.

The benefit of link building includes a rise in search engine result page rankings for different keywords. It means more visitors will find the website as the webpages climb the SERP rankings.

Competitive link building is the process of analyzing the link profile of competitors and using the same sources to add links to your own website. This can be done manually or using tools that reveal where the links are placed, and the anchor text.

Link building is the process of creating new hyperlinks on webpages around the internet, which point to a specific webpage that is trying to increase SERP rankings. Examples of link building include forum posting and guest posting.

There are many white label link building services. The problem is that many of them may not provide good quality links that will lead to big changes in SERP rankings for the desired search terms.

This metric was developed by Moz, allowing you to evaluate the average quality of links pointing to a website. The main purpose of the Spam Score is essentially to help you evaluate the risk of getting penalized by having too many low quality links. Typically, a Spam Score below 17% is considered safe or trustworthy. The greater the number goes, the worst it is. Essentially a score of 100% means the site is super toxic.

We try to source websites with a domain authority (DA) above 20, which would be the bare minimum. Ideally anything above 30-35 starts to get interesting. This is on a scale of 0 (low) to 100 (high).

Through a variety of channels, methods or sources, we can typically access a wide variety of TLD’s. This means, we can often find Spanish, French, Italian or German websites. Ideally, they will have a decent to excellent domain authority (DA) and in some cases, we can find sector specific sites to match the client. For example a Spanish soccer website should be able to get links from other Spanish speaking countries (i.e. Latin America).

While a PBN or “private blog network” can be complex & shows a high level of technical skills; it’s generally not something that Google likes, to put it lightly. For some companies, it can be seen as a necessity for a variety of reasons; but for the remaining 95% of industries, one should really avoid having links from PBNs or maintaining such a network.

In this specific case, it also assumes that PBNs carry no domain authority (DA) and in other instances, they can be seen as somewhat spammy. Therefore, we would typically try to source websites with few links from PBNs, within reason, as sometimes its impossible to ignore all of them, due to the sheer scale of the web.

Premium or bespoke campaigns are aimed at large or small clients, who are motivated & ready to invest in order to get links from authoritative websites; by using data or high velocity methods to attract journalists from appealing online media outlets. Unlike a more conventional link campaign, which may involve a more structured process or sources, in this case we don’t know where the links will be coming from, but we do know this process has shown to be quite effective over the years. There’s a minimum of 5 links per campaign, but often far exceed this figure by x2 or x5 times. Please note this is per campaign. Some clients may choose to do 1 campaign per quarter and others 2 per month.

Many sites which would otherwise be deemed as very hard to get, all of a sudden become more accessible. When all conventional pricey PR methods fail, this process tends to save the day.
